Learning backpacking, fly fishing, and hunting solo as an adult in Montana

Getting caught in ashfall deep in the Wilderness, and remaining calm due to survival knowledge

Assisting friends in the wildfire evacuation process for the Lolo Peak Fire in 2017

Developing lifelong relationships with loss, trauma, and grief, learning to be stronger from them

Becoming an advocate for taboo subjects, such as sexual assault, pregnancy complications, and now, wildfire

By hours worked, number of incidents, and variety of fuel types across 7 states, my first season of firefighting surpassed what many experience in several seasons.

Why Start a Business?

As an independent consultant, I am uninhibited by agency or employer policies when I speak up, fluid as I explore new avenues, and able to endlessly learn in any direction that piques my interest.

As a LLC rather than a Non-Profit, my efficiency is not tied to a board, but instead set by the passion I have, for both my clients and the world that we all live in.
